Dr. Patricia Tran grew up outside of Denver, Colorado, where she received her Bachelor’s and Dental degrees from the University of Colorado. Immediately following dental school, she moved to St. Louis to acquire her Master’s degree and Certificate in Orthodontics at St. Louis University. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Tran is regarded in the dental community as friendly and professional, and enjoys working closely with the general dentist and other dental specialists to provide the best care for her patients. Yet at the same time, she is regarded by her patients as attentive, open and approachable, dedicated to providing a warm and welcome atmosphere. Dr. Tran believes in delivering the highest quality care in orthodontics, guided by a commitment to using the most advanced techniques and materials, and applies the latest findings from clinical research to her treatment. She stays on the forefront of technological advancements in the orthodontic specialty by attending numerous orthodontic education programs each year in order to offer her patients the best possible course of treatment.
Having treated hundreds of patients with multicultural backgrounds, she remains mindful that the teeth positions to create a beautiful smile are unique to the individual, and thus their treatment plan should be tailored to meet those unique needs. She believes in spending ample time during the consultation to fully educate her patients about the nature of their orthodontic problem and the treatment options available to them.
While not in the office, Dr. Tran might be found traveling to different countries to explore other people, culture, and foods. She feels privileged for being able to provide a service that is able to change people’s lives and has made it a priority to give back, volunteering for dental missions in Romania, Vietnam and India. Dr. Tran is a participant in Smiles Change Lives program, an organization that provides orthodontic treatment to children from low-income families.
